Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · effective 27 July 2026
Genuine requests, genuine parts, genuine quotes. Everything else gets warned, blocked or suspended.
1. Why this exists
Suppliers spend real money to unlock leads. Buyers hand over the details of what they need. Both only work if what is on the platform is genuine. This policy sets out the conduct that gets an account warned, restricted or closed. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
2. You may not
Misuse requests and quotes
- Post a request for a part you do not want, to test, scrape or waste supplier credits.
- Post the same request repeatedly to appear more often in the feed.
- Quote for stock you do not have, or quote a price you do not intend to honour.
- Advertise, recruit, or solicit unrelated business through a request or quote.
Trade unlawfully
- Offer parts you know or suspect to be stolen, or parts stripped from a vehicle you have no right to strip.
- Offer parts whose identifying numbers have been removed, altered or obscured.
- Break the laws that apply to second-hand goods, scrap metal, or vehicle salvage in your country.
- Misrepresent a part’s condition, origin, mileage or fitment.
Abuse other people
- Harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against another user.
- Contact a buyer for anything other than the request they posted.
- Publish another person’s contact details, or use details you obtained from an unlocked lead for marketing, resale or any other purpose.
- Leave or solicit reviews or vouches that are fake, paid for, retaliatory, or written about yourself.
Attack the platform
- Scrape, crawl or bulk-extract listings, leads or supplier data.
- Probe, load-test or interfere with our systems, or bypass rate limits, the credit system, country restrictions or account suspensions.
- Upload malware, or upload files that are not photographs of the part in question.
- Create accounts with false details, or create a new account to evade a suspension.
Manipulate our AI
The request chat is processed by an AI system. You may not attempt to make it ignore its instructions, reveal its prompts or internal configuration, produce content unrelated to finding a vehicle part, or act as a general-purpose assistant. Attempts of this kind are detected automatically.
3. What happens if you break it
We apply the lightest step that fixes the problem:
- Warning. The first flagged attempt to manipulate the AI, or a first minor breach, gets a warning in the chat.
- Chat or lead restriction. Repeated flagged turns block that particular chat from continuing.
- Account suspension. Repeat offences across leads suspend the account. A suspended supplier stops receiving leads; unspent credits are dealt with under the Refund and Credits Policy.
- Closure and referral. Serious breaches — stolen goods, fraud, threats — end the account immediately and may be reported to the authorities.
Some of this is enforced automatically. If an automated decision affected you and you believe it was wrong, contact us and a person will review it.
4. Reporting
If you see something that breaches this policy — a suspicious listing, an abusive message, a part you believe is stolen — report it to us with the request or quote reference and we will investigate. Reports are confidential; we do not tell the other party who reported them.
